Not sure whether you need deep tissue, relaxation, or something in between? Therapeutic massage is my fully customized session — I blend techniques based on what your body tells me that day. What It Is

Therapeutic Massage, Defined

Therapeutic massage is a customized session that draws from multiple techniques — deep tissue, Swedish, myofascial work, stretching, and cupping — based on your specific concerns. Rather than following a set routine, I assess your body, listen to your goals, and build the session around what will actually help.

Why Clients Choose It

Common Reasons

  • You have tension in some areas and stress in others and want both addressed
  • You are new to massage and are not sure which type fits you
  • Your body changes — sometimes you need depth, sometimes you need to decompress
  • You want a session that is genuinely tailored rather than off-the-rack
My Approach

How I Work

We start by talking — what hurts, what has been stressful, what you want from the session. From there, I build the session in real time. I might use deep tissue on your shoulders, Swedish strokes on your legs, stretching for your hips, and cupping on a stubborn knot — whatever your body needs. I check in throughout, so the session evolves with you rather than following a script.

Who It's For

  • First-time clients who want a tailored introduction to massage
  • Clients with multiple areas of concern that do not fit one modality
  • Anyone who wants a session that adapts to how they feel that day
  • Returning clients whose needs shift from visit to visit

What Your Appointment Feels Like

  • A conversation at the start to shape the session around your goals.
  • A mix of techniques and pressures — deeper where you need release, lighter where you need to unwind.
  • Regular check-ins so the pressure and focus stay right for you.
  • A session that feels personal — no two therapeutic massages are exactly alike.

Questions & Answers

Therapeutic Massage FAQ

What techniques will you use?+
It depends on what you need. I commonly blend deep tissue, Swedish, myofascial release, stretching, and cupping. I will explain what I am doing as I go, and you are always welcome to ask for more or less of any technique.
Is therapeutic massage the same as deep tissue?+
Not exactly. Deep tissue is a specific technique focused on deeper muscle layers. Therapeutic massage may include deep tissue, but it also draws on other techniques and adapts throughout. If you know you want deep tissue specifically, book that — if you want a tailored blend, therapeutic is the right choice.
I am new to massage — is this a good first session?+
Yes, it is my top recommendation for first-time clients. Because the session is built around your comfort and needs, it is a gentle, pressure-appropriate introduction to what massage can do for you.
Can I add CBD or cupping to a therapeutic session?+
Absolutely. Both pair naturally with a customized session. Mention your interest when booking or at the start, and I will weave them in where they add the most value.
